Why did I become an Acupuncturist ?
I really fell in love with understanding the body and all its nuances during my time at Northern State University. I also learned how to write, read and the importance of understand research and having quality research to help people. I found Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine through Chiropractic. I knew I wanted to help people in a way that didn’t require the prescription of long term use medications. I started exploring my options and found the Traditional Chinese Medicine Program at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
With Chinese Medicine I am eternally grateful to have the opportunity to help people find healing in a safe, gentle way that has very few side-effects! I have always found biochemistry and the integrated nature of the bodies systems fascinating. With Chinese Medicine I can meet patients where they are and together we can work with the bodies natural ability to heal.
